The Old Public Trust Building celebrated its 100th anniversary on June 9 2009. Over the course of the past century, it has played a central role in New Zealand life both through the work of its occupants (the Public Trust Office, Census and Statistics staff and Creative New Zealand) and through its standing as one of New Zealand's finest buildings.
